Rare Ink
Rare Ink is a gallery system and activation platform that focuses on art, experiences, and technology alongside artists, designers, and creators that seek to share their stories.
Objective
Rare Ink engages, exhibits, and co-creates in Africa and the Americas by working with established and emerging artists; in addition to this, Rare facilitates collaboration with beneficiaries that align with our core focus areas:
developing cost-effective spaces for emerging artists
supporting the mastery of entrepreneurship in the arts
developing a niche and supportive collector and curator community
promoting diversity in art representation through strategic accessibility and partnerships
Engagement
Rare Ink engages the artist and collector communities though the creation of networks that hosts artist talks, thinktanks, networking events, and collaborative public engagement activities
Artist Exhibits
Our curators, executive board, and network of partners develop exhibition opportunities for established and up-and-coming artists.
Emerging Artists Series
A monthly series where emerging artists can plan and execute a professional 7-day exhibit in our Washington, DC location.
Solo Artist Series
The Solo Artist Series is a monthly exhibit activation where established artists can plan and execute a 7-to-14-day exhibit at select locations within our network of galleries and partner spaces.
